Cartiera Olona, \u200b\u200bnow to third generation, has a consolidated family tradition behind it. The company was founded in 1968<\/strong>, during the industrial economic boom, in Gorla Minore (province of Varese), thanks to the entrepreneurial resourcefulness
of Lorenzo Belvisi<\/strong>. After several years of experience in the paper sector, he decided to bet on the possibility of setting up a center for the <\/strong>production of cardboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Like every paper mill, the company is located next to the Olona river<\/strong> which gives its name to the valley of the same name. This waterway, 71km long, was the origin of industrial development and
in particular of activities related to the manufacture and processing of paper.<\/p>\n

Storia<\/h2>\n

Nel 1995 Agostino Belvisi, figlio del fondatore che aveva preso le redini dell\u2019azienda dalla fine degli anni \u201970, venne a mancare improvvisamente. I figli Davide, Silva e Maria, insieme alla moglie Maria Grazia Zazzeron, furono da allora a capo dell\u2019azienda. Nemmeno la grande alluvione dello stesso anno arrest\u00f2 il loro spirito imprenditoriale.<\/p>\n

Dopo la sua esperienza nel settore cartario da diversi anni, decide di scommettere sulla possibilit\u00e0 di far sorgere un\u00a0centro per la fabbricazione di cartoncino.
\n<\/strong>Cartiera Olona, giunta oggi alla terza generazione, ha alle spalle una consolidata tradizione familiare. L\u2019azienda nasce nel 1968<\/strong>, in pieno boom economico industriale, a Gorla Minore (provincia di Varese), grazie allo slancio imprenditoriale di Lorenzo Belvisi<\/strong>. Dopo la sua esperienza nel settore cartario da diversi anni, decide di scommettere sulla possibilit\u00e0 di far sorgere un centro per la fabbricazione di cartoncino<\/strong>.
\nCome tipico di ogni cartiera, l\u2019azienda sorge accanto al fiume Olona<\/strong> che d\u00e0 nome all\u2019omonima Valle. Questo corso d\u2019acqua, lungo 71km, \u00e8 stato l\u2019origine dello sviluppo industriale e in particolar modo delle attivit\u00e0 legate alla fabbricazione e lavorazione della carta.<\/p>\n

Negli anni l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di Cartiera Olona ha continuato a crescere all\u2019insegna dell\u2019innovazione e del cambiamento<\/strong>. Lo spirito dinamico e ottimista della famiglia fu alimentato anche da due eventi che ne segnarono la storia.<\/p>\n

Un\u2019altra forte scossa arriv\u00f2 nel 2013. Fu allora che un\u2019incendio distrusse la maggior parte dell\u2019azienda. Anche questa volta, la famiglia Belvisi rialz\u00f2 prontamente la testa. L\u2019episodio, di per s\u00e9 negativo, fu invece motore di innovazione e idee per Cartiera Olona. Da allora, inizi\u00f2 la ricostruzione all\u2019insegna dell\u2019avanguardia<\/strong>: non solo furono attuati nuovi lungimiranti investimenti ma venne valorizzata ancor di pi\u00f9 la ricchezza umana<\/strong> attorno all\u2019azienda.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbbiamo preso coscienza di quanto bene ci sia attorno a noi. Dipendenti, clienti, fornitori, enti pubblici locali ci hanno aiutato e sostenuto. Cos\u00ec, abbiamo trovato il coraggio per rinnovarci ancor di pi\u00f9<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fu allora che venne realizzata la nuova secchieria<\/strong> con una macchina continua destinata all\u2019asciugatura del foglio, venne costruito un magazzino secondario e ripensata la logistica interna al fine di ottimizzare spazi e velocizzare le operazioni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
